Ankle Rehabilitation Video Series: Strategy on Improving Calf Raise

Calf Raise Strategy: This video depicts an athlete utilizing a low rise bar to improve the range of motion while performing a calf raise. The injured ankle joint will develop subsequent loss of mobility as a result of the repair process that the tissues go through. This loss of mobility must be a focal point while being rehabilitated. Many athletes will return to play despite not having complete restoration of range of motion of the ankle. This leads to the individual being less effective while performing in their sport.
