Calf Raises Can Decrease Ankle Pain, Weakness & Plantar Fasciitis Pain
Foot and ankle pain can cause many people to stop running, walking, jogging and playing sport. Being a weight bearing part of the body it does not get rest. Therefore by strengthening up your calf muscles you can reduce pain in these regions. These exercises do not require any equipment or too much space.
You should start off with 3 sets of 10 repetitions and then build that up to 3 sets of 30 repetitions. Let pain be your limiting factor. Do not push past tolerable pain levels.
